1. Scope
This policy applies to paid AppMaker plans billed through Stripe. AppMaker is a digital software service; we do not sell or ship physical goods under our subscriptions. Returns of physical merchandise, if ever offered, are covered by our Returns Policy.
2. Free plan
The Free plan does not require payment and therefore has nothing to refund. You can use it to evaluate the Service before subscribing.
3. First-purchase money-back guarantee
If you are a first-time paid subscriber, you may request a refund within 14 days of your first paid charge if you are not satisfied with the Service. Email billing@appmaker.live from the email address on the account and include the invoice or subscription details.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. We may decline a request where there is evidence of fraud, abuse, a mass-created account, or a violation of our Terms. The guarantee applies once per customer or organisation and does not apply to renewals, upgrades, additional seats or add-on purchases.
4. Renewals and partial periods
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Except where required by law or expressly stated in this policy, payments for renewals and partial billing periods are non-refundable. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund the current period. Access continues until the end of the paid period, as described in our Cancellation Policy.
5. Plan changes and proration
When you switch plans or billing intervals, Stripe may calculate a prorated credit or charge. Downgrades generally take effect at the end of the current period. We do not pay cash refunds for unused time created by a downgrade unless required by law or agreed in writing.
6. Duplicate, incorrect or unauthorised charges
If you see a duplicate charge, an incorrect amount or a charge you do not recognise, contact billing@appmaker.live before disputing it with your bank. Include the account email, invoice number and charge date. Verified duplicate or erroneous charges will be refunded in full.
7. Chargebacks and disputes
We want the chance to fix billing problems first. If you open a chargeback without contacting us, we may suspend paid features while the dispute is investigated and provide the payment provider with account, usage and delivery records.
We aim to acknowledge billing disputes within five business days and resolve them within 30 days. If a chargeback is found to be fraudulent or abusive, we may close the account and pursue the outstanding amount where permitted by law.
8. Processing times
Approved refunds are submitted to Stripe promptly. The time for the funds to appear depends on your bank or card issuer, typically five to ten business days. Currency-conversion differences and bank fees charged by your provider are outside our control.
9. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights in your country. If you are entitled to a remedy under local consumer law, we will honour it. Where digital content is supplied immediately, you may be asked to acknowledge that you lose a statutory withdrawal right once delivery begins.
10. How to request a refund
- Open the Stripe Billing Portal from your account or email billing@appmaker.live.
- Include the account email, plan, invoice number and the reason for the request.
- Wait for our confirmation before filing a chargeback; most issues are resolved faster this way.
